London For Groups recently took some of our Members to see the newly opened Mrs. Doubtfire with pre-drinks in Simmons Bar Holborn.
Mrs. Doubtfire is now dazzling and delighting audiences at London’s Shaftesbury Theatre! This ‘genuinely funny comedy musical’ (Time Out) based on the beloved film is ‘a sure fire hit!’ (The Telegraph, Daily Express). The Telegraph calls it ‘a complet ejoy’, TheTimes says it ‘soars from screen to stage’, and City AM hails Mrs. Doubtfire as ‘funny, heart-warming and wildly entertaining!’
Here's what our Members had to say about the show!
I really enjoyed the show. I think that, like the film, both adults and children will find it entertaining. The lead actor Gabriel Vick did a great job of doing all the voices and quick changes (it must be daunting taking on a role made famous by the talented Robin Williams). I think this is a good show for groups as it has a bit of everything and makes for a fun night out.

The new stage adaptation of Mrs Doubtfire was excellent- they kept the underlying theme of the original story (deep, meaningful themes which resonate with so many people) and brought it up to the 2023 with up-to-date music, references and dances. The child actors were incredible and really touched on every nuance and feeling.
I would recommend this to anyone - if you don't come out of it feeling something special inside well.....!

I thoroughly enjoyed Mrs Doubtfire, it was wonderful, I wasn’t sure that it could be made into a musical but it proved me wrong!

What a great evening. It’s been a long time since we laughed so much during a show and we were still chuckling all the way home. Would highly recommend Mrs Doubtfire as a really good feel show for all ages.
